Since Labor Day is Monday I give to you my final white outfit of the year. I kid, I kid – I will definitely be wearing white well into the Wintertime. I don’t know who made that rule up but that person was an idiot. Cozy sweaters in Winter whites are utterly dreamy. And paired with white denim… amazing.
Anyway, I’m rambling about winter outfits when it’s still 90 degrees! To combat the heat (if only for a second), I donned this easy tee & skirt outfit for the day. I found this tee at the thrift store (shocked are we?) and I love how the teal color in the graphic picks up the stitching color in the skirt. I actually found this tee in the boy’s section then cut off the bottom and rolled up the sleeves. Because it was more of a shrunken fit, I felt it looked best as a crop.
For ultimate comfort (and full on monochrome), I wore these white Aldo slides I bought a loooong time ago. I wore them so much, I now own 6+ pairs of this style of sandal. For the amount of times I’ve worn them I’m not sure I can count them as white anymore!
This clutch is also an oldie from Aldo that I love to pull out in the summer-time because it surprisingly fits a lot! I also like how the tortoise shell clasp complements the tortoise shell buttons of the skirt. I just love when pieces I’ve picked up at different times work so well together. Speaking of, the earrings I’m wearing also work so well with this tee! I actually forgot about them until I was digging around for earrings to wear and found these! I honestly can’t remember where I got them but they have "Florida" written all over them, don’t ya think? I also can’t believe August is almost over! I know I’ll be getting my last wear out of my summer clothes before I pack them away. Especially all of the whites.
