Shades of Green
Kelly. Lime. Olive. Sage. Mint.
What looks like a grocery list for Kelly is actually a list of all the shades of green we saw on the S/S 2019 runways. What’s great about this trend is that you can pick whichever color suits you! If you’re a neutral lover, Sage will pair beautifully with shades of beige & white. Or if your motto is go big or go home, then go bold with the brightest lime (or what the cool kids call me, slim) green!

The 90s haven’t left since they came back full swing last year but my favorite 90s trends to come back has been ditsy florals. This photo is from Kate Spade’s latest collection and I have been OBSESSED with it since I laid eyes on it. The bright, bold colors and pattern clashing gives a modern edge to the trend that is fresher than the grungy florals of the past.
Shell accessories started to pop up on influencers last summer so the trend is poised to get even bigger this year! You may still have that pukka shell necklace from that time family trip to Florida but you’re not limited to accessorizing your neck anymore! There are so many great vintage earrings, hair accessories and brooches to find!
This silhouette trend is part of a bigger trend that I’ve been seeing dubbed the “dad trend”. I’m sure you know about “dad sneakers” that every cool girl has been wearing. Well fashion world has pulled more clothes out of dad’s closet and long shorts is one of them. Also known as the Bermuda short, this length was very popular is the 50s up until 80s so there are tons of vintage options to choose from!

Tie dye was seen all over the runways and honestly, what’s not to love?! Add a fun pop of color to basic jeans or go full 70s with a great pair of flare jeans!
