Denim skirts are back! I found this one at a vintage store in Austin but it was a tad too long so I cut it off at the knee. Now its the perfect "throw on and go" skirt. When paired with a t-shirt, its just as comfortable as my go-to jeans and tee look but just a little bit dressier! I’ve also been shopping a lot at TJMaxx because they have the best designer shoe collection. I mean, how cute are these shoes?! I didn’t need but I had to have them.

Someone at work told me I looked like Dorothy in this dress haha but I love it anyway! But sadly this dress is no longer available even though I bought it only 2 weeks ago! But you won’t regret buying any gingham dress because the trend will definitely be around for another year and they are just so cute.

I had this blazer in my closet for years and I just spontaneously pulled it out to wore this day. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it because blazers are all the rage these days! I also love how a printed blazer makes a basic tee & jeans really standout. If you have a classic tees & jeans wardrobe adding in some really cool jackets is an easy way to jazz it up a bit!

Who else is loving the 70’s? I sure am! I bought this blouse on sale a couple weeks ago and I was feeling its 70’s vibe so I piled on the decade with light wash flares and platform sandals. I’m starting to wear more fancy blouses with jeans because you don’t really need a lot of thought behind it – 1. top 2. pants – because it packs a bigger punch to the outfit.

Throughout the week I try to stay away from t-shirts and jeans but on Friday’s I say screw it – its Friday! Guys – these sandals are also from TJMaxx! I’ve been wearing them a lot – especially when wearing black. There’s something about them that makes an simple outfit really chic – maybe it’s the classic red/black/white color combo.
