By now I’m thinking you probably know where I found this amazing Christmas Sweater – the thrift store, of course! This is actually my very first festive sweater! Why, you may ask? It’s because I couldn’t rationalize spending my money on a brand new, often expensive, sweater meant for a very specific time frame; which I may only wear a couple of times. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to throw shade at people who buy new Christmas sweaters. On the contrary, I would always be jealous of the girl that rocked one in December. However, my hesitation quickly vanished when I walked into the thrift store the other day and laid my eyes on copious amounts of cool, festive and perhaps most important affordable sweaters!
I’m not talking about your traditional “ugly” Christmas sweaters here (although they have a lot of those too!). Of course, “ugly” is subjective and to me this is no “ugly” sweater. The colors are really wearable and make a really cool pattern. To up the “chicness factor”, I wore the sweater with dark wash bootcut jeans, block heels and a ladylike bag. If you work in a more casual environment then this outfit would definitely work for the office, or perhaps for one of the many Christmas parties this month? No doubt I’ll be pulling mine out on Christmas Day 😊.

A little bit about the makeup; to juxtapose the casual, playful vibe of the sweater, I wore a light smokey eye and bold red lip. If you want to know how I did this look, check it out in my instagram stories!
